Dr. James Grossman, MD

Dr. James Grossman is double-boarded in Internal Medicine and Urgent Care Medicine, and has been practicing Emergency and Urgent Care Medicine since 1996. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Rice University, Dr. Grossman completed his medical education at Baylor College of Medicine and residency at Emory University School of Medicine.

Dr. Grossman enjoys spending time with his wife, Kate, and a daughter and a son who are both in high school. His hobbies include playing tennis, reading and science, (especially physics and astronomy) and mathematics.

Tami Barton, NP

Tami Barton is a Nurse Practitioner and joined Grand Prairie Urgent Care and Family Medicine in November 2018. She has been working in the medical field since 1999. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and went on to graduate with a Family Nurse Practitioner Master’s degree from Lubbock Christian University.

She has been married to her husband, Ty, and they have four children ranging from the ages of 16 months to 23. Aside from spending time with her family and friends, Tami enjoys making custom arts and crafts and is involved with sports and coaching the youth in the community.

Bincy Matthew, FNP-BC

Bincy Mathew is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in family medicine, urgent care medicine and preventative care. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Grand Canyon University at Arizona and then earned his Master of Science degree and post graduate Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois. He holds national board certifications with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a family nurse practitioner. Before his nurse practitioner career, he worked as an Emergency Room nurse for over ten years.

He is married to his wife Sheeba and they have three beautiful children. His hobbies include traveling with his family, fishing and watching football on weekends. He is also involved in church activities and loves to help people.

Joseph Courage, FNP-C

Joseph Courage is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in family, preventative, and urgent care medicine. He has worked in the medical field since 2008. Starting as a medical assistant and working through school he earned his Associates Degree in the Science of Nursing at Austin Community College in Austin Texas, then his Bachelors in the Science of Nursing at Grand Canyon University at Arizona and finally earning his Master of Science in Nursing in Family Practice at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2017. He is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Aside from his nursing background Joseph also draws on experience from living and serving overseas at Olorien Community Clinic in Tanzania East Africa from 2018-2019.

He has been married to his wife Lindsey, also a Registered Nurse, since 2010 and they have three energetic, fun loving children. When not working at Grand Prairie Urgent Care Joseph enjoys also volunteering at a non-profit clinic serving missionaries and their families who work all around the world. He also enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, ultimate frisbee, running, reading theology, and serving in his local church.
